Bay Area native, Rolley2x first got inspiration to become a music producer in 2013 after hearing Kermit the Frog by Gucci Mane. The Zaytoven produced beat put things in motion.
I said to myself I want to do what he’s doing. I took music serious as soon as my friend Trendy put FL Studio on my computer.
Zaytoven sound selection makes you feel like the opera in the hood. His piano skills inspired me learn how to play piano and learn music theory. Hit-Boy is also a inspiration because he makes all genre beats. You can immediately tell it’s a Hit-Boy production when the song is played.
Rolley2x’s biggest break to him has been dropping his instrumental tape. The instrumental tape consists of 12 tracks of different genres.
There are plans of releasing a tape with various artists from underground to main stream soon.
My biggest career goal is to build my own brand and cultivate my own artists. I’d also like to learn how to compose music for movies and run a successful label. I want my sound to have an impact on the world.
