There Was Once a King of Hip-Hop By The Name of DMX

With aggression and grit,  DMX growled his way to the top of the rap game in the late 90’s. Being raw and rugged, he delivered his debut album, It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot in May of 1998. He later released his sophomore album, Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood in December of the same year. Both albums went to No. 1. Making him the first rapper to release two number one albums alive in the same year.

DMX eventually went on to have five consecutive #1 albums and sell over 75 million records worldwide. He also became a successful actor starring in films such as Belly, Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, and Cradle 2 the Grave.

Before the bankruptcy, divorce, addictive drug abuse, and multiple arrests, there was once a King of Hip-Hop by the name of DMX.
