Jemario Williams of Tuscaloosa, Alabama comes from a family of cooks. His father is the owner of Mr. Tee’s Awesome BBQ & Home Cooking. His grandmother was the head chef at a BF Goodrich manufacturing plant for over 30 years. Both in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Williams himself started off cutting onions and bell peppers with his grandma at a young age and was cooking full meals by the age of 12. It’s safe to say that he is no stranger to a kitchen.
The 2010 Paul Bryant High School graduate is determined to keep the family’s talent of cooking on full display. He has ventured into the culinary world on his own to start his own business with Mari’s Tasty Kitchen. A mobile food truck that’s open several days throughout the week in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and surrounding areas. Serving up fish, chicken, sandwiches, nachos, cake slices, and more. Mari’s Tasty Kitchen is a name inspired by Williams’ first born son, Amari. The official first day of business and operation was on February 3, 2023.
I eventually plan to expand. The sky is the limit as long as you keep getting good feedback from customers.
