Just last week, Drake and 21 Savage released the official music video for their collaboration “Spin Bout U,” which is the first video from the duo’s collaborative album, Her Loss. One of the highlights of the Dave Meyers directed video is the leading lady in the visual. A plus size model by the name of Precious Lee. Not just a plus size model, but a visibly plus size model. Not one that you have to stare at too hard to determine if she’s plus size or not.
The year is 2023. Is thin still in? Sure it is. But the openly preference of a of plus size lady is more common these days. Representation matters and it’s great to see a plus size model being the leading lady in a mainstream music video. Drake let it be known that he like his woman BBW. The leading lady is Precious Lee. She is a plus-size model from Atlanta. She has walked in shows for Versace, Moschino, Fendi, Lane Bryant, and many more. Lee began her modeling career at the age of 18. She left Clark Atlanta University during the second semester of her senior year to pursue modeling full time. She is currently signed to modeling agency IMG.
