Deborah Torres, a California entrepreneur pitched her vegan fried chicken on season 11 of ABC’s hit TV show “Shark Tank.”

While on the show, Torres offered the Sharks a $500,000 investment opportunity in exchange for a 10% stake in her company. Billion-dollar investor Mark Cuban had the idea to partner with guest shark, Rohan Oza and offer $1 million for 100% of the company. Torres would receive a 10% royalty.

Torres turned the offer down. Recently, her company Atlas Monroe acquired a multi-million dollar former food production warehouse in a San Diego Opportunity Zone to expand their vision.
