This is my first visit to Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken.  I decided to visit the Roswell Road location in Sandy Springs. Just 15 miles north of downtown Atlanta. I had read and heard nothing but great things about this Tennessee-based chain.

I tried the famous hot chicken with potato salad, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese.

The potato salad was a bland a little sweet. The greens tasted like they were only seasoned with chilli powder. The macaroni and cheese was also bland.

The chicken was seasoned well, but was too dry. I loved my chicken fried extra crispy, but this was fried too much.
