The prestigious Songwriters Hall of Fame is gearing up for new members. Songwriters are eligible for induction to the Songwriters Hall of Fame after writing hit songs for at least 20 years.
This year, one inductee will be Atlanta native and founder of So So Def, Jermaine Dupri. Dupri becomes the second Hip-Hop act inducted into the organization, following Jay-Z in 2017.
Jermaine Dupri has co-written No. 1 hits for Mariah Carey and Usher, just to name a few. He started the careers of Jagged Edge, Kriss Kross, Bow Wow, Xscape, Da Brat, and many more.
