Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, brother of the late rapper, said he and the team were inspired to tap into the burger industry after going on a smash burger tour.
Marathon Burger began as a pop-up shop and is now a brick-and-mortar restaurant. The restaurant celebrated its grand opening on Saturday, March 1, 2025. The restaurant is serving up burgers, fries, wings, shakes, and much. Marathon Burger is located just walking distance from Hussle’s Marathon clothing store where he was shot in 2019.
Marathon Burger is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. at 7507 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles 90046.
