Antonio Reed of Alabama, better known as Chef Tone is known for providing meal prep, catering services, private dining, and cooking lessons. The self taught chef has chosen to expand his brand and broaden his culinary skills by releasing a cookbook as well as a line of sauces and a seasoning.
The sauces include Habanero Hot Sauce, Peach Hennessy BBQ Sauce, and Jerk Pineapple BBQ Sauce. There’s also a Smokey Chipotle BBQ Rub.
Chef Tone’s cookbook, The Cookout Handbook: Rules, Guidelines, and Recipes is what he refers to as “your go to guide to not get ran outta the kitchen, backyard, or off the grill”.
What inspired you to create sauces?
Honestly, I just realized I wasn’t creating to my full potential. I started my career in BBQ so it was just my natural first step.
What inspired your to release your cookbook?
I had ZERO interest in releasing a cookbook. But, I had so many people reaching out asking me to make it happen. I finally caved and once again fell back on my BBQ background.
Tell me something you’d like everyone to know that will be purchasing your sauces and cookbook.
Everyone that purchases should know everything that I release is done with love. I put everything I have into any project I dive into. I dive in head first and won’t stop until what I’m working on is perfect! Each sauce and cookbook is a piece of my heart!
