On September 11, 1993, Mrs.Bernice Washington and her late husband, Willie Washington married and opened Aliceville Religious Center.

Aliceville Religious Center hold gospel concerts as well as sell delicious hot food such as fried chicken wings, spaghetti, fried fish, and more.

We got married and opened up for business later that day. That was my honeymoon. He liked gospel singing and I was a great cook.

Mrs. Washington stated that one secret to longevity in business is having a real interest in what you’re doing. She also mentioned that it is not an easy job, but her favorite part about working is preparing food for the customers. If the food is happily made, you know that it has to taste good.
